Description

If you slip while setting a stone, it’s no big deal, no damage to the stone.
This Bezel Burnishing and setting tool won’t ever scratch the bezel like a steel bezel pusher. The 3d printed high-impact Biodegradable plastic prevents damage to the stone and, in the event of a stone-destroying slip of the hand.
This stone-setting Bezel Burnisher was designed to make setting a cabochon on pendants and rings easier and less painful for users suffering from hand and wrist issues.
This bezel burnisher is included in our Stone and Bezel Setting Tool Kit. In that kit, your pendant or ring is secured when it is pressed into the mounting plastic that has been heated with a heat gun or high-temperature hair dryer. The mount is rotated with the non-dominant hand to bring the bezel into different positions. The bezel is easy to work on, with the ergonomic bezel pusher that is in the palm of the hand or held in the fist. Once the stone is secured in the bezel, the ergonomic bezel burnisher is used to harden and polish the edge of the bezel. Once the bezel is closed, the assembly is lightly heated to remove it from the rotating mount.

Features:

  • This tool is also a part of the Ergonomic Bezel Setting Tool Set for Rings & Pendants. The ergonomic design of the bezel burnisher decreases the stress on bones and muscles when closing a stone setting.
  • Like our ergonomic Bezel Pusher Tool, you can use this tool for setting a stone as well as burnishing with it.
  • Burnishing is the final process used to ensure the bezel is tight and has a hardened surface. Where the bezel pusher uses a horizontal or vertical press to close the bezel around the stone, the bezel burnisher is used with a sliding motion to harden and polish the surface of the bezel.
  • It can be used for tightening loose stones.
