With this ring shank maker, you will create a perfect flat on your ring shank every time. That will ensure that the ring shank will be perpendicular to the back plate every time. This is a flat maker ring clamp. That's right. We're gonna make a mark where we want the flat. We're gonna take that mark and we're gonna set it in the ring clamp and we're gonna pull this while we hold this over here, pull that and just kind of just barely touch it very, very lightly. So we've got it held in place. Then we're gonna turn it over and slide it into the appropriate point of the gauge here. These gauges not go from six to 15, that's the wire gauge. So in order to, uh, make that where we wanted, this is a 10 gauge, so we're gonna put this in the 10 gauge slot field around for it. It felt, felt this drop in. Now we very carefully uniformly push this down and when we get done, we're as hard as we can in that groove. Now our line is lined up, which is where we want it. And now what we're gonna do, you see that's only sticking up about a one fourth of the distance of the thickness of that ring. Make sure the ring shank is not sticking out too far. Now we're gonna take that and we're going to snug it down some more, as much as we can. Okay? And then we can take this file here. This is a, a mill file of a fine, fine tooth mill file, so it's not real aggressive. We're gonna lay this right on top of it. We're just gonna slide back and forth, keep sliding back and forth until that flap, until this doesn't rock. We'll be against it. The ring will be filed down. See, we're starting to get a little flat spot on it. The rim will be filed down and as soon as we know that we're not here in the ring being filed at all, then we know we're right on on on the plastic, which is a high, high impact resistant plastic. We'll have an eyes flat on our ring. Look at that sign the little mark we have there. That's what we were looking for. Okay? So we're gonna go ahead and put that on a back plate as such. Well, uh, the tools we used here were the ring flap maker, the bale sensoring tool mill file here. The ring shank is ready to solder using our Spidey mini hold down tool and grid board.
