Looking for silversmithing classes in Las Vegas or Reno? Nevada students travel to our studio on the Oregon Coast for small, hands-on classes where you learn real silver soldering and stone setting — and go home with finished jewelry you made yourself. One weekend is all it takes to go from beginner to making your own rings, pendants, and bracelets.

Most jewelry workshops last a few hours and hand you pre-made parts. Ours are different: a small group, plenty of one-on-one help, and the same process professional Jewelry Silversmiths use — sawing, filing, soldering, and setting your own stones.
Same process, your style. Whether you love Southwestern-style silver and turquoise or clean contemporary designs, you learn the techniques to make either. Nevada is turquoise country — if you have a stone you’ve been saving, bring it along. Setting your own cabochon is one of the best parts of the class.

Getting Here from Nevada
From Las Vegas: Nonstop flights run between Las Vegas (LAS) and Eugene (EUG) — check current schedules when you book. From Eugene, it’s about a 2-hour drive to the coast.
From Reno: Nonstop flights connect Reno (RNO) and Portland (PDX). From Portland, it’s a scenic 4-hour drive down to the coast, or connect on to Eugene for a shorter drive.
Fly right into North Bend: Southwest Oregon Regional Airport (OTH) is about 10 minutes from lodging, with connections through San Francisco or Denver. Retreat students get shuttle service to and from OTH included.
